You can have multiple tabs of views open at the same time.
Each view tab can be a monitoring view or other item, spread across any SAMs or entities in the tree.
The buttions to add or delete view tabs are on the right side of the screen.
Adding a View Tab
Click on the icon 
to add a view tab.
Deleting a View Tab
Click on the icon 
to delete the current view tab.
